500. What's your favorite phrase? Your mom

Kevin and Stephanie are doing it. Are you?

Okay, I apologize for not posting, it's been a busy few days. And I've been sleeping... A lot. But anyhoo, nothing too interesting has happened lately. Umm... Thursday, we wore our GSA shirts, "Kevin and Stephanie do it. Do you?" Which is a straight ally thingie. It was good fun, got a lot of funny looks for our shirts, because they didn't know what they meant. But the presentation at the Park Library Auditorium was pretty good, we had an alright turnout.

Okay.... Friday? I tried to call Ben Bourlier's mom because it was Ben's birthday. I'll try to get a hold of him today, I love that kid. Gerontology was cancelled, so that was hot and sexy... we got our cars and I parked at a meter until 4, then we can park anywhere. The honors class was really boring, we took a group picture and as the camera man counted, I felt a sneeze coming on... when he said "THREE!" I sneezed really loud and the whole (400+) class laughed at my perfect timing.. but hey! We were facing the sun, what do they expect. Cat played mario all day long yesterday... I did most of my four year plan, with Cat's help... Then we played piano and watched Coyote Ugly. I found out something really strange last night when Cat was teaching me how to play piano... I can only play correctly when I'm focusing on something else. I screw up when I actually pay attention, so I started watching a movie that was on the tv. Good fun.

Today... Well, my Stephanie Johnston is at CMU today, so I'm going to the football game with her, it should be fun, I miss her! Then we have our show tonight, Want To See Something Funny?, Jim Gaffigan and some other funny people will be there! Woot.

Okay, its breakfast time, I'm starved. Laters.

Do you feel that you cannot control your sexual urges?

That was a question I had to answer at this psych study that we went to yesterday. It was pretty much the most random stuff ever. But it was worth the three points! Woot. Umm... I'm sitting in my room eating some cereal at the moment, the cereal is delicious though. I think this is the first morning that I've woken up and really not wanted to go to class. I really don't want to go. REAL BAD. I'll get over it, I have to go to French. I think I'll go log a few office hours today at the Program Board office today, we're having our show this weekend, BE THERE. That is if you actually live around here... otherwise, nevermind, I don't expect you to drive forever. But anyhoo, its at the Plachta Auditorium... at 8:00 pm this Saturday. It'll be marvelous. Well, I'm excited anyways. Let's see whats on the agenda for today:

French - ten to eleven
Gerontology - eleven to twelve
Program Board - twelve to one thirty
Psych - two to three fifteen
Psych Experiment - three thirty to three fifty-five
GSA - eight to God knows when...

Should be a long day, but I live on that... hmm... I kinda wanna go to the SAC today, damnit. Big Kisses.

How could I forget?

I saw Corey and my latin lover, Adrian the other day! It was wonderful, I love those guys. Anyhoo, I realize I haven't posted in a few days, just been super busy. I have exaclty 6 minutes to post this, then I'm going down to breakfast with my buddy Ben from the terrace. Let's see, the ride back to CMU was great, we sang Savage Garden. When we returned, Amanda drove followed us to the parking lot and drove us back so we could get to swing dancing on time. THANKS AMANDA !!! Swing dancing was a lot of fun, I was forced to be a lead for a little bit, then I begged some girl to switch with me so that I didn't have to, because I didn't really know how to lead. But I got to dance with some guys that actually knew what they were doing, which is always an event.

Yesterday, I didn't have to get up until 8:00 to go to breakfast with Lia, then I came back and fell asleep until 10:00 because I didn't have to go to French class until 1:30, for a test that I probably bombed. Gerontology was interesting as always, but not notable. Then I had a psych test, which was pretty good. I'm really really liking psychology. A lot. Then Cat and I played Super Mario 3 after dinner. YAY! I love Mario. We sucked ass though. We walked up to the SAC and I ran 4.5 miles, plus however far it was to walk to the SAC, so I worked them legs... I got to take a shower right when we came home, then I went to bed, because I've been feeling like shit, so sleep is wonderful. I did have the weirdest dream last night. It was about me working in a nursing home and I helped this old lady, named Sarah Lynn, into the elevator, then went to get her purse, then she died in the elevator while I was gone for 30 seconds... needless to say, I feel like I didn't sleep at all... I gotta go get some brekkie now, laters.

I AM SICK OF IT...!

Okay, I am completely sick of people complaining to me about my friends, they are my friends and I love them, so shut your damn mouths. End of story. We're through. Done. Finito. Au revoir. Sayo-fucking-nara. Okay, now that I'm done with that rant, let's continue.

Today has been lovely, I went to El Walmarto. It was crappy. I hate Walmart a lot. I did get a thingie for my key chain though, its like a fake rappelling clip. But I like it. Then I saw Ashley Ellerbe and Amy Culbertson. Which was delightful as always. I may go to Starbucks with my Starbucks buddy, if our schedules allow it, but I got some major studying to do tonight and tomorrow before I leave. And I have an interview with my Betty tomorrow morning at 10:30 at Lesbyterian Village. I'm excited. I don't have much else to report, so I'll leave you with one last comment. I LOVE YOU!!! And you. And you too.

Yeah Super Mario 3 !!!!

I love super mario 3... it is the absolute best one & Cat and I just played it for like an hour and a half. It was hot and sexy. Soo... yeah, not much going on, I do have a fun picture to though. Umm... today, I'm going home around 4 o'clock... YESS!! Fried Chicken tonight! I'm so excited for home cooking. I have absolutely no homework this weekend, just a little bit of studying to do for some tests next week, but that shouldn't be so bad. I've finally got my meal plan down to a science, I know exactly when I can and cannot eat so I have the right amount for the week. It's very exciting.

Did anyone notice that it was so damn cold last night? I slept like a rock, apparently I was out at 12:20 when Cat got outta the shower and I didn't get up till about 9:30, so it was a good sleep. I'm really excited to go home and do laundry too, I've been saving up all week for it.

Oh, the absolute best way to spend a morning is playing hardcore Super Mario for a good hour and a half, I love that game more than I love life itself, it's so engaging, although I do get scared when I'm getting chased by those damn little ghosts with teeth, those are frightening. A few people stopped in our room just because they heard the familiar Mario music, it was quite fun. Well... I eventually have to get dressed and now is as good a time as ever, so I'll have to talk at y'all later. Big kisses.

Hmm...

Well, last night, we tried to watch Sling Blade, one of my all time favorite movies... but then I turned it off to watch MTV's Sweet Sixteen show, which has these completely obnoxious people, usually girls, whoring it up for their sweet sixteen, where at least a few thousand dollars are thrown into, if not more, I'm sure every one of them could pay off my tuition for the next 7 years and still have enough money for a kick ass party. Those whorey assed bitches. <-- Exceeds the swearing quota, eh?

Today was special, as usual, I was up at 7 and I ate the last of my Golden Grahams. They were delicious. Then I went to Economics, which I hate with a passion. Duh. It was boring, as usual. Then I went to French and we pretty much discussed, in French of course, all of the stories that we've read so far. I love that class. In Ms. B's class, not that I didn't love it, because Cooper would hit me real hard if I said that, but we didn't learn any French, we did like one story per year, whereas in this class, we've already read like ten. Then I came home and we had lunch. Beautiful. Then off to my favorite class, ASL. Today, we discussed, in detail, the film that I was talking about in my previous post. It was quite a discussion, let me tell you.

I'm feeling very odd today... I've been super giggly all the damn day. It's probably as strange to experience as it is to watch. I dunno, ask Cat, she caught the wrath of the giggles today. Tonight is Tourettes and Survivor in 117 with Courtney, Amanda & Lia. Should be a fun time. I'm gonna do all of my homework tonight and tomorrow until 2 so that once we are done with HON 100B, we can leave and be home by 7-ish. Whoopie. I'm excited to go home. Gotta get more cereal. I need more cereal. I cannot live without more cereal. I'm really tired right now, it's like I'm having a sugar crash, super happy, then super tired within minutes. Its pathetic, really.

I have nothing all that interesting to say... Oh! I do! I went to my first GSA meeting ( I'm a straight ally babes, sorry ) I know y'all want me. Anyways, I really like the group of people that I hung out with, and I kinda knew a few of the people before I joined, and there's this really nice guy from my French class there, he's a sweetie. We went sidewalk chalking last night and it was fun, but I had to be alone for a little bit, so I called Cat to come keep me company and help me out. My awesome 12 year old cousin Trevor did something so cute last night though, first off, he kept calling me during the meeting, so I called him after, he thought that something was wrong with our nana because she wasn't answering her phone, turns out she lost it. Anyhoo, I told him that I was outside (it was about 10:00 pm), and he was like "ARE YOU ALONE???" and I told him I was, but Cat was coming to keep me company, then he was like "Is it a well lit area?" and I told him it was and he was all gruff and said "good". Needless to say, we stayed on the phone until Cat came to rescue me. It was so cute.

Aight, I gotta go, got some last minute stuff to do before Tourettes! I know, you're jealous. But don't fret, we'll have a Rocky/Tourettes party either on Thanksgiving or Christmas break, or both... something to look forward to, eh? Okie dokie, I'm gonna get offline now, I'm tired of vegging on the computer. I'll give ya a big ole smooch when I see ya.

I-N-F-U-R-I-A-T-I-N-G

I've fallen absolutely head over heels for that damn VJ day picture of the strangers smoochin'. I don't know why, but now its popping up everywhere. Yay. Yesterday, I forgot to post and I apologize sincerely, but I was a busy one. Let's see... I awoke around 7 o'clock to go to Economics, which I'm sure I forgot to mention that I hate that class... with a burning passion. Then I came home for two minutes, I had to go take care of my damn financial aid, they were trying to overcharge me by about 1200 dollars. Eff that. (Yes Cooper, I stole "eff"... I'm trying to at least cut down on the swearing in the blog.) Then I went to Francias, which was pleasant as always, we spoke a little French, got a little confused & I finally remembered the name of the girl that I sit next to every morning.

ASL was completely infuriating. We watched this film "For My Deaf Son". It was absolute crap. These parents couldn't decide whether or not to teach this kid sign language or oralism, so at the age of four, he could barely communicate beyond yelling and very fragmented phrases. They were so freakin' selfish, it was disgusting. The mom didn't want to teach the kid sign language because she wanted to teach him English, but he can't really understand what people are saying because his hearing aid doesn't unscramble the words. So the kid knows barely any sign language and barely any English, so he can barely communicate. ARGH!!! You'd think that these parents would at least teach him sign language to begin with so that he could have a base of a language.

I have to go to class now, I'll post more laters.

Yeah! I Changed The Boring Blog!

I know, I'm awesome. I really love that picture, I read something about it a few weeks ago in The Week magazine and bam! I love it. Anyhoo, today was pretty much the usual, boring-ish, but tolerable all the same. Gerontology is a very enjoyable class. This teacher is completely insane. I don't know if I've mentioned, but I absolutely love my Psychology class, it is pretty much the most interesting thing ever. We have the most insightful discussions in that class, like what is consciousness. Its so damn cool.

I went to the SAC again tonight, I keep loving it more and more. I think I finally figured out what runners high was, because I didn't wanna stop tonight. I ran 4.3 miles in 45 minutes... and I'm so proud of myself, it's disgusting. But that's a step up from barely being able to run a mile, I figured it out though, I can't run outside because of the allergens in the air, ie my stupid grass and tree allergy. But inside, its all good. I'm so happy, I wanna work up to ten miles, I know it sounds crazy, but I think I can do it.

I have to go do my French homework. Goodnight my loves.

I <3 The SAC

I've fallen madly in love with the SAC. I wanna be there all the time. Yesterday I ran a mile and biked five miles, then I just did some strength training. Yeah, I know running a mile is nothing special, but I'm proud of myself, I'm not much of a runner. I found a couple of machines that I'm absolutely loving, they're mostly for working your legs, but there's this one that's really cool, I can't describe it though. Anyhoo, yesterday, I woke up and went to breakfast, then came home and studied, I accidentally fell asleep, but only for an hour and a half ;). I got back to the studying, so all I have to do today is read a little more psychology, a quick french exercize and I'll probably end up doing some med terms work. I can name all of the abdominopelvic regions! Right Hypochondriac, Epigastric, Left Hypochondriac, Right Lumbar, Umbilical, Left Lumbar, Right Iliac, Hypogastric, Left Iliac! Yess! I totally win at life.

I might do some laundry today, it seems like a good idea. I'll prolly end up going back to the SAC today as well, there's prolly not a lot of people there on Sundays. The first swing dancing lesson is today too! I'm so excited. OH! I have to return Meet Joe Black too. Well, I get to leave campus today! That's an exciting development. Well, I'm off to study psych. Yay.

Aww...damn, I just remembered that it was September 11.

Blubbering FOOLS

Yesterday was quite an interesting day, lemme tell you. I got up around 9 and went down to breakfast with Cat and Lia, which was delightful, as always. Then I came home and took a shower and went to Gerontology. Here's a quote from Prof. Malonebeach, pretending that she was an elderly man visiting his doctor:

"I can't have sex with my wife anymore because my little teeny peeny is teeny!"

So, anyways, after Gerontology, we went to lunch and then off to the Honors Convocation, where yes, I was wore a skirt. And then we had to sit in the grass, combine that with a white skirt and an allergy to grass, and you have quite an experience. But I enjoyed myself, there's a guy in my group who's from Fair Haven and he seems pretty cool. After the Honors thing, I hung out in the dorm for a while, getting homework and studying done. Which I still have more to do today and tomorrow. I hung out with Amanda & Courtney downstairs a little, then went back and watched The Notebook with them around nine. It was an absolute mess. We were crying like wounded puppies, but whenever Courtney would start crying, she would get really loud, so Amanda and I would start laughing whilst crying. I kinda wish someone woulda seen that one, it was beautiful. I hung around there for a bit and we laughed our asses off until about 12:00, when I decided that I needed to go to bed, because I was laughing like I do when I get really tired and I had the most enormous headache that you could imagine.

Today I'm gonna study, probably talk online for a little bit and get my rear end over to the SAC to work out. Leave me some saucy lovin'.

Friday, September 9, 2005

Well... Last night was an interesting one. Lauren Irwin came over and told us scary things about New Baltimore that makes me not wanna go home again and furthermore I don't ever wanna see the film they make about Morrow Road... Seems a wee bit to scary for me. Anyhoo, yesterday was a crazy one, let me tell you. I went to class and fell asleep in economics because I was so damn tired, I was writing notes and fell asleep in the middle of a word, I was rubber necking it throughout the entire class. French was marginally better, no sleepies. ASL was good as ever, we did pantomime, which was a lot of fun.

Around 4 yesterday, Lia called with the realization that we had a film review for gerontology and it was due this morning at 11:00. So we dashed up to the video store and rented Meet Joe Black for 50 cents. It was a really long movie and I cried because the ending was sad. Then Cat and I watched Fried Green Tomatoes because its the best movie ever. In the whole world. And I turned Cat into a Fried Green Tomatoes lover. Yay.

Now it is time to shower, so while I'm gone, ponder just how awesome I am.

Thursday, September 8, 2005

...

I am so fucking tired right now, I don't feel as if I can drag my ass across the parking lot and into my seat in economics. Mother fucker. I wanna nap, real bad.

Spreading The Love

I got a 100% on my test! I win at life. Anyways, about Tourettes, the way I see it is if everyone who knows how to play, teaches a group of their friends how to play and so on and so forth, the entire world will know how to play it in a generation or two. I want to spread the immense joy of Tourettes, its the biggest stress reliever that I can think of. And when I say people should teach others how to play, I mean you people at different schools, so we can all spread the joy. This means you, Cooper, teach all of your NY friends how to play... they'll like it. Then it will be famous... I know it. Wow... I love that game, its a scary obsession.

Okay, done with that tangent. I just wanna thank Jill & Ferzy for coming up and doing the futon and shopping and the casino, it was a blast. Oh!!! I got your card today, Unka! It was pretty cute...and pink... that's the only way to a girls heart is pink... atleast this girl's heart. I love pink.

Goooooooooooooooooooood Night!

Tourettes, coming to a dorm near you...

Okay, we introduced Tourettes to our roommates and Lia's roommates tonight. It was awesome. And we played with the door open because we are rabble rousers. It was a fucking blast... I know you're all jealous, but it can't be helped. Today was rather uneventful, went to classes then to the SAC to work my fat ass out. It was schweaty, but boy did it feel good. I think I wanna live at the SAC, its so great.

I'm gonna take a med terms quiz online, then I'll post more. Wish me luck.

It's been a good few days, we got back Monday night and Cat threw a mini surprise birthday party for me! We had cupcakes, which were delicious (Thank's Cat's mom). Cat got me this AWESOME closet shelfy thing & some little storage boxes, where I keep my drugs. Lia got me a cute backpack thing too.

Well, classes yesterday were fine, then around 3, Jill & Jenny came up with the futon & I helped them put it together. Then we went to Target & Walmart to get crates & stuff, then off to the casino to eat and lose my ass gambling. The food was okay, I'm just not a buffet person. Then I played quarter slots with Aunt Jill's money for a few hours, won some, lost a lot. It was good, it just proved to me that I never ever want to enter a casino again.

I got home and felt like fuck, I had been inhaling smoke and old people for hours on end, I smelled like a vanilla cigar. It was nasty. I felt like I was gonna hurl, but I didn't. I put up the crate/shelves & they look hot. Then I showered my stinky cigar flavored ass and went to the hall council meeting. It was boring as fuck, but I'll probably go every week. Then I came home and talked online while rearranging my crap onto the shelves. It was good for me. I finally went to bed around 12:20. This morning I woke up, brushed my teeth and went to breakfast and now I'm sitting here relaying my life's events to you fine people. Later my loves.

Sunday, September 4, 2005

Well, as y'all know, yesterday was my birthday... but it was just pretty much any other day, I went shopping with my mom & stuff. I didn't even do anything that you can't do until you're 18. I will though, I swear. We stopped at Jill's house & that was fun, then we got home and Jake & Becky were there. Jason got me a really funny Harry Potter shirt, that only Harry Potter fans would appreciate. It says "Dumbledore dies on page 596". Only a true nerd would get it. Umm... Last night, Ashley Ellerbe & I went to Starbucks. It was delicious.

Oh! Thanks to everyone who called/messaged me with happy birthday, it really did make my day :) :) :) When I typed messaged, it reminded me of massaged, which reminded me of a sensual massage. Someone try to figure out my brain.

Anyhoo... I've got a lot of shit to do, so I'll be going now.

Hola mis amigos

I recently (2 seconds ago) realized how to turn the comments back on, so you all better start leaving them, I'd feel very bad about myself if I didn't get any. I'm sitting in my living room, in the big NB, bored shitless. Well, I'm watching Six Feet Under and bored shitless. It is a delicious show. And I can't fall asleep because I'm excited, I turn 18 in about 15 minutes! Woot! But I'm not doing anything for my birthday because I'm a loser, I do get to see my brother tomorrow, which I'm excited about, since I haven't seen him in at least a good month or so.

Cat and I made the 3 hour-ish trek home today, stopping for 10 minutes at Birch Run so I could get a back pack for cheap. It's sexy & green. I don't understand why I all the sudden like green, but I do... a lot. Anyways, I gouged my finger on my cell phone holder thing and a nice chunk of skin fell off... it was only a few minutes from home though. Got home around 4. It was sexy, I immediately left and went to Selfridge with Nana and my mom. That was good fun. I saw an awesomely named cereal there, "Mini Frosted Spooners", which prompted me to call Cooper because we have a running spooning joke. You wouldn't understand. Sorry.

Anyhoo, I got some cereal, granola bars, dish soap, tampons, white out and other random junk. It was a good trip to the base. I heart tax free shopping. Oh, by the way, I want to marry Birch Run. It's simply unbelievable. Everything is constantly on sale.

I gotta go to the village this weekend to start a series of interviews with a person over 70 for my gerontology class and I know just the right person to interview, she's my favorite resident and has an interesting perspective on life. I'll prolly do that tomorrow over a nice cuppa Timmy's.

I have so much shit to do in this almost 4 day weekend. We coulda been home yesterday around 7 pm, but I had a gerontology class today from 11:00 until 11:50, I had to stay for a 50 minute class, which I could have completely blown off, but didn't because I paid for it. Damnit. I assume that I will blow it off occasionally, but only to get home to do an interview, so it is an acceptable reason. I swear its a good reason, don't pick on me.

I came home to 6 CDs that I had ordered offa BMG, they're tres sexy: Kelley Clarkston -- Breakaway, Modest Mouse -- Good News For People Who Love Bad News, Lifehouse -- Lifehouse, Counting Crows -- Films About Ghosts, Graham Colton Band -- Drive, & Fall Out Boy -- From Under The Cork Tree. Wooooooooooooooot. That's sexy, the only unsexy thing is that I have to bring them back up to school to put them on my laptop, which I really don't want to do, but I'll live. I just see myself losing the CDs... and I don't wanna, I love CDs. Speaking of, I have a whole bunch of CDs to put on my computer still, maybe I'll bring them all up this time and hide them in my trunk so I can't lose them. Maybe.

I have to remember to bring a cable splitter and a long cable cord up to school. Maybe if I put it on my blog, someone will remind me to do it. Oh! Jill & Jenny are coming up to Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday ( I could say just to visit me, because I'm awesome, but they're up for the casino). It should be a spectacular time, I get to go play the quarter slots! I also have to register to vote, which I'm uber excited about.

One last thing: Do not let boys come into your room to use your toilet, they WILL poop in it. No matter what. Especially the ever odd Donny Reinhard. The room smelled for an hour. And I'm out.

Ugh... Rabbit Rabbit!

Oy freaking vey, I'm tired and its only 2:25, but I started at 7:00 this morning. I still stand by the idea that macroeconomics is boring as all hell. It sucks ass. But I'm done with classes by 2, and I have breaks in between, so it doesn't suck that much. I'm definitely in love with the Gorillaz right now. They're sexy... speaking of, I forgot to get Cooper to send me the song "Feel Good Inc." I love it... but I swore that I wouldn't make her send me anything else.

Yay, I'm coming home this weekend... and I'm so watching the entire 4th season of Six Feet Under with my mom and dad. I love that show. It's ultimately sexy.

My mom called my cell when I was in the middle of Economics class today. She sucks. And she didn't even call for anything important, just to rabbit rabbit me. Don't even ask what it is, if you know, you know, if you don't, you're not missing anything. Damn Ms. Vloet. Rabbit Rabbit kinda sounds like Rabid Rabbi. Which could be a little un-kosher, if you know what I mean.

It makes me mad when people drive to class. Argh, they're dumb.

Long day #2

Well, this morning at 7, Cat and I went down to breakfast and then I went to Principles Of Macroeconomics. That class seems very boring. End of story. The teacher admitted to giving a shitload of notes on things that weren't very important. I'm so excited. Then I went to French at 10. I understood a little bit today, but the homework tonight took a long time, Ms. B never emphasized being able to read stories that were grammatically correct...that slut. But I got it done eventually. I had my first ASL class today. It's fucking awesome. It is so damn cool, I can't even believe it. We sit in a circle and aren't allowed to talk, we just have to learn by immersion. YUSS!

So, I got home today around 2 and had the worst fucking headache that I've had in a while, it was one of those that if I was in a bad mood, it would've made me cry because it hurt so bad. So I started reading my psych chapter for tomorrows class, then on page 9, I fell asleep. Apparently Cat thinks its very funny when people fall asleep with books in their hands, because she gave me a very spirited view of what I was doing whilst being asleep. I woke up and the book was still in my hand AND my headache was gone. I read the rest of the chapter and then nerdily did all the review questions because I plan on acing this course. I really really hope that I do. Its sa-weet.

OH! We went down to the absolute farthest point from our dorms today, the intramural baseball fields, for a Program Board party, to get introduced to everyone. It was a lot of fun and we played extreme kickball. Its a good game, I made an out! Yeah, I know you're jealous of my enormous ball catching skills. The meetings are every Tuesday at 8 o'clock, I'm so joining. It's gonna rock my freakin' socks. I love the high intensity of it all, its like WHOA! I love it...did I mention that I love it? Because I really do love it. Speaking of RSO's (student orgs), I'm not entirely positive which ones I'm joining yet, but I'm positive about this one and the Gay-Straight Alliance, because there's just not enough people that love gay people like I do. But seriously, I just want to help spread the equality, especially since I know so many gay/bi people & love them to pieces. I would really like to join the S.A.P.A group, which is a kind of crisis line for rape victims, but I don't trust myself not to go out and kick every one's ass who does something bad. I think it would be a good idea to join hall council, it might give me a good chance of getting to be an RA next year. Hmm... could I be any more school spirited?

Sam has left the building.

I lied, I lied... I LIED, okay, you caught me

Okay, so I know I was supposed to post yesterday, it just turned into a long day and I didn't get a chance. Let's see.. I had my first French class, which was okay, I understood the teacher, but not completely. Then I had Gerontology... All I can say is j'aime the class is awesome, the teacher is mildly new age, but she's cool and the class is gonna be awesome. Lastly, I have Intro to Psychology honors. I love it. Yay. It's gonna be super cool. The teacher has got to be like 30, tops. Its gonna be awesome.

So I get home yesterday and Cat is freaking out about her Calc II class because it isn't what she thought it would be, so I calmly told her to "Calm The Fuck Down" and she switched into my Intro To Psych class instead, which she's a lot happier with... and now I have a psych buddy. Yay. Umm... I have ten minutes to get from one end of campus to the other end between French & Gerontology. I'm not at all excited about that, it's about a 9.5 minute walk, so I'm really pushing it. I got there right on time yesterday. It should be a good class though.

Then, last night, we had a dumb Larzelere Hall meeting. And we had to leave the dorm to go to it. How much sense does that make? NONE. Anyways, it was boring and we came home and went to bed. How much fun.

Cat just humped her bed.

Oh My Effing God...

It was an interesting day. It started with waking up around 8:30 and fucking around on my computer with pictures... by the way, I uploaded a lot today on webshots, but I had to create an overflow album to store the rest, so it's under scutta33... I know, original. Anyhoo, we went rollerblading for a bit, then came back and had brunch with Ben, just a nice guy that we kept running into. It was good fun, he's a centralis freshman... that's awesome, that means full tuition and room & board paid for. Damn. Then we wasted time for a few hours and went to Mainstage. It's super fun. I'm planning on joining a few clubs, namely S.A.P.A, GSA, a volunteer program and Program Board. Which sounds like quite a load, but really isn't.

Well, at mainstage, we went on the scrambler, then we made the fatefull decision to go in a vat of bubbles. Let's just say they don't taste that good. I got tackled quite a few times, let me tell you. By 6:30, I was bubblicious. Lia drove us back to the dorm and we took lightening fast showers and shot back up there to get to the Bowling For Soup concert. We got there and another band, Changes, was playing. They played until 8, then around 8:30, Bowling For Soup came on. I went and talked to one of the girls who was working for Program Board, the group that put the show on. Half an hour later, the chairperson came up to me and asked if I wanted to start today & work backstage. Whoa! Hell yes I will work backstage. So I was on gate duty, which means you open the gate for asshole crowd surfers to get back into the crowd. This one guy escaped from some of our people and got onstage, then he accidentally hit the chairgirl that I was talking to, in the nose, so as I was ushering him outta the gate, I gave him a little help getting out, ie a nice punch square in the kidney. And yes, it was good for me.

So, after the show, we stuck around and eventually met and got autographs from the entire band. It was awesome. All four signatures on a dollar bill because I had nothing else to get them on. Fucking stupendous night.

Well, I started the day by making sun tea... mom'll be proud of that one. Anyhoo, we were supposed to play laser tag yesterday night, but it turned out to be inside a little dome, so we opted out and took a campus wide walk, realizing that the campus itself isn't as gigantic as it seems. Oh, and I talked to everyone on the phone yesterday... I'm turning into quite a talker. Shut up, I know I already am... just not on the phone. Yesterday, in my free time I finally got around to naming all of my pictures on my computer, I have over a thousand pictures ;) Yay, I love pictures... I'll prolly update them on webshots today, that way everyone else can love them too. The pictures link on the left is for webshots.

I'm definitely listening to an awesome playlist right now:
This Is How A Heart Breaks, Rob Thomas
Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, Green Day
Stand By Me, John Lennon
Lonely No More, Rob Thomas
Gracie, Ben Folds
Sitting, Waiting, Wishing, Jack Johnson
Float On, Modest Mouse
Good Riddance, Green Day
Hollywood, Los Lonely Boys
Somewhere In Between, Lifehouse

It's completely awesome... I'm gonna have to send you another CD, Bean, I just got a few more and I should be getting a few more next week sometime, it'll be awesome. Hmm... Unka Bill.. Let me know if you want me to send you a CD, I made one for Aunt Jill and she really liked it, so... yeah, anyways, I gotta go be productive now, no more posting. Love ya much.

My new address & telly phone

I can't remember if I posted this or not, so I'll do it again because I'm awesome:

Larzelere 319
303 W. Bellows St
Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858

& my phone # is 989.774.5556 & my cell # is 586.291.0751

Hey hey hey

Okay, I'm up at CMU now... I just haven't had time to post yet. But I have time now, so here you go. Got up here on Thursday afternoon and Cat and I finally got the room the way we wanted it, its set up really cool, I love it, we actually have room to move. Oh, and you'll all be proud to hear that I'm turning into my mother, in the last 2 days, I have brewed 2 pitchers of sun tea. I know, I'm awesome.

Oh...and oddly enough, I'm not homesick at all. I mean, yeah I miss my parents & Jake and a few select people, but I kinda thrive on new things, so I guess this is my bag, baby. I am happy that I have the internet & a cell though, keepin' me connected.

I'm really excited to get involved on campus with volunteering and the like, there's this one group in particular that I want to get involved with, called S.A.P.A., which is Sexual Agression Peer Advocates, which has a lot to do with rape and the like, it's something I feel really strongly about.

And now that I'm actually here, I have know idea what I want to do with my life, I know the medical field is where I want to be, but I'm just not sure what I want to be doing in it, so yeah, I'm going completely insane.

Grocery list:
milk crates & plastic ties
paper towels
butter
kleenex

I swear, I'm the college student without food, I have a loaf of bread (and an illegal toaster, shh), a box of cheeze-its, a box of lipton tea, a bag of Splenda, 6 yogurt cups and a bottle of lemon juice. Yummm...

Duuuuuude...

I hung out with Ashley Ellerbe tonight, she's my Starbucks buddy. We walked around Target for a while and I got the Target CD...I know, its pathetic, but there's a lot of good songs on it, and it was only $5.99, so I don't feel like a complete failure. I also bought hangers...I forgot I needed them.

Argh...I hate dating commercials, they're so dumb.

I am mentally retarded

Okay, remember how I was gonna get an oil change today? Well, I forgot. I had a good day though, I woke up late, had a shower, then went to Poncho's with coach. It was a nice meal...but we both cried when I left. It was really sad. For some reason, it is very hard to watch someone you care about cry, ever experience that? ;) Then I went to Target to get a sports bra, which I also didn't get, instead I got a new purse. I like it. But I still need a sports bra. Damnit. Today, I'm gonna get all packed up and continue tomorrow, late into the night, I'm sure. Tomorrow I'm going out to lunch with Coop and gotta say goodbye to her...which sucks. But I'm sure it'll be fun anyways...and I might drag her along to get my oil changed because I keep forgetting to do it. Maybe she won't noticed that I typed that. Oh! No one is gonna notice, but I got about an inch of my hair chopped off, I had to get rid of the split ends, the dumb lady took off a little too much, but it still looks exactly the same. Anyhoo, gotta go pee then get packing. Love y'alls.

2 Days Left At Home

Woah...time flies, eh? No Cooper, I didn't say "eh" for your benefit...but I am talking to you at the moment, so maybe I did. Well...I forgot to get an oil change today. I don't know how I forgot, but I did...I did get Will & Grace season 4 on dvd today. I will excitedly watch that. I've got an easy schedule tomorrow...I have to run to the high school and have them fax my transcript (I kinda wanna call it a tranny...and I don't know why) to CMU so that I can be registered again. Then I'm going to lunch with coach. Then I will try to remember to get an oil change. So if anyone wants to hang out, gimme a call/message and we'll hang.

And maybe your glamour's not in Boston,
But my friends are fucking awesome,
And we'll keep on doing our best,
Even though our lives are a mess,

LAX -- Big D & The Kids Table

I'm freaking out about my major... the more I think about it, the more I don't know what the hell I want to do... I've always had biomedical researching stuck in my head and damn... it won't leave me alone.

cont'd...

Okay, I'm completely surprised that we didn't get a million quotes the other night (I didn't do them), but we did get a few, and here they are:

Nice jugs -- Cooper to Cat...hey, if you've got 'em, flaunt 'em

I can show you where to put that -- me, Cat stuck her tongue out at me...and I don't take kindly to it

My m.o. is sexy -- Cooper... yes ma'am

It's not a sexy flick, it's porn, own up to it, stupid! -- Moi...blame Cosmo...and we weren't watching porn ;)

There's no right way to scratch your butt crack -- Cooper...a truer word was never spoken

Okay, so that was it. I know, don' t yell at me. So, yesterday I finally was aloud to go to sleep around 11:30 and I did so until 3:30. It was gooood, sometimes you need to sleep. Although I only got four hours. Then I did laundry until 5:30 and then went to hang out with Stephanie at the beach. Cooper showed up and we all hung out until 7:00, when Steph and I went to play tennis. We both suck, royally. I did use to be really good, I beat my gym teacher, Ms. Gernburg a few times in tennis camp...the only person I can remember being in tennis camp with me is Max Beaver, weird.

Ugh...I have so much to do this week. Today should be interesting, I have to shop for me, grocery shop for my parents, get an oil change and I resheduled going out to lunch with coach, so I might do that today too. Wuuuuuuf.

I Love Rocky Parties

I had so much God damn fun yesterday. It was supremely awesome. First, we went to Mrs. Dawes' to visit, which is as fun as it can be with an elderly woman. She's so sweet though. And I found out that her great grandson, a kid that I grew up with, is now a professional dancer and he got an awesome fucking job as a dancer on Carribean cruises. Oh, and he's only as old as I am, but that is such an awesome experience...and he's such a cutie. Then my mom and I went to the mall and she got me some delicious soap for school, it smells like Vitabath, but costs a lot less per ounce than that...vitabath costs like $1 per ounce, this stuff is so much cheaper. Oh and I got a new shirt and some new pajamas.

Then I went with Amy and Kelley to Andy's party thing. It was okay, but I knew no one there. Then we went to Kroger and stuff. Good times.

People started showing up at like 8...and didn't stop until about 2 when Steph showed up. She only stayed for an hour though. I had Amy, Kelley, Michelle, Cooper & Cat spending the night and we had a blast. We watched Rocky Horror...and made a quick run to Kroger to get Cosmo. We read that aloud whilst watching Rocky Horror. That was like the sauciest 2 hours of my life. Maybe not, but close. Then we attempted to play Tourrettes...but we were all slap happy and couldn't concentrate. I was in one of those giggly pathetic moods and I kept getting the hiccups. So we all chilled out and talked for a bit, then Steph finally called us to make us let her in because she was throwing pebbles at my window to get our attention, but we were too loud. We chilled out for another hour with her, then she left because she actually had to work this morning. Everyone started dropping off around 3 ish, and everyone but me & Cooper were asleep by 4. We didn't go to sleep. It was awesome, we talked until about 8 or 9 am. It was good, as always. We're nearly the same damn person, its scary. See how that works? We start to be really good friends, THEN WE HAVE TO GO TO COLLEGE. God damn it. Will post my quotes later. Hugs and kisses, you saucy minxes.

Cooper, you have to stop keeping me up so late, I'm dead now.

My oh my, I'm tired. I think I had the longest conversations of my life last night with Cooper. And yes, it was good for me. Haha. Okay, Doris, who has no tact what so ever, just farted and is now chasing her tail. Fucking freak. If I farted (which I don't because girls don't fart) I sure as hell wouldn't be chasing my own tail...or ass if you will.

I am so damn busy today, I have to get my room back in order. Now! No dickin' around about that, having a Rocky party tomorrow and it has to be good, so there.

Is it strange that I actually enjoy mowing the lawn?

I did that today, it's always fun to do, but only if I have music to listen to. I have to go through all of my shit to see what I can bring to college, what I can leave at home and what I can throw away. I love doing that, I just can't get around to it. I've been doing laundry all day long, somehow, I'm enjoying that too...someone take my temperature, I think I'm sick.

Oh! I got a notice from CMU that they didn't recieve my high school transcript yet...excuse me, I sent that a week after school got out and they wait until one week before I start school? Crackheads. So I'm gonna have to go to the high school tomorrow so they can fax one over. I think I'm going to lunch with coach tomorrow, I'm excited, he's always fun to be around...and he's my mom. I have so many moms. Well, my mom, Kasy and Coach. But that's more than the average bear, let me tell you.

I'm a dumbass, yesterday, I went to the post office and saw Maggie's grandma there, then two seconds later, I stubbed my toe on a parking block. It really hurt. Ouch. Oh!! My dad got the day off of work to move me in, as much as I would have loved Kasy and Amanda to do it (and it would've been way more fun) its kinda for my dad to do.

What's the dumbest way to burn yourself?

a) on the oven
b) curling your hair
c) dropping a boiling hot macaroni noodle on your hand

The answer is "C". Needles to say, I burnt the hell out of my hand on a macaroni noodle. What kind of retard is that? I dunno. But it did hurt. And I have a noodle shaped burn on my hand. My mom is gonna laugh at me. Today, I have to go to the bank to find out about student loans, then I have to go to work for something.

Oh, I talked to Cat today and it seems that the student is becoming the teacher, all she can do now is make fun of ME! Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? That's how our disfunctional friendship works. Oh...and I bought three pairs of PINK boys' boxers yesterday for about 6 dollars. Why they are pink is beyond me, but I'm not complaining, they were on sale.

Wuuuff...this weekend has been longer than most

Well, I'm watching the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. It's always a special time.

"It's like making a frog stand up and put on a pair of double knit pants"

Friday night, I went to Gia's going away party...and had an okay time, minus the non-stop game of "Lets make Sam drink". I was the only underage person at this bar/steakhouse. At one point, I got cornered in the bathroom and was told that I couldn't leave until I had a sip of her beer. I didn't, 'cause I have this little thing called self control. The highlight of the evening was one of this girls I was driving home (I was a dd) helped my boss steal a sign that said something about booty, from the bar. It was a special time. I finally got home around one o'clock. And woke up after three hours of sleep to go to work. I made up for it last nigh though, I fell asleep at eight and woke up at 5:30. Today was just another day of work, how fun. I've done absolutely nothing, except talk to Maggie for a few minutes online and to Andy for a few minutes. Oh and a little laundry.

I should quit hitting the crackpipe so hard...

Today, I came home from Rec and fell asleep...for 4 hours. I felt like absolute shit. Then I woke up and my eyes were glazed over a little bit, but that's what falling asleep with contacts does to you.

Okay, I'm so watching Full House right now. It's the "very special" eating disorder episode. DJ just said "I promise, no more crash diets, I'm going to go to her party and have fun with my friends." It's some powerful stuff. I forgot what a corny and yet lovely show Full House was.

Today was a special day at Rec, Cat and I got Life Lessons with Kasy. Although Kasy gave Cat lessons on life and she didn't want them...I wanted them and she barely gave me any. Dammit. But apparently I have numerous gifts that I need to use. Good thing I have no idea what they are and how to use them. On a completely awesome note, Kasy and I were talking about college and I said something about how my parents had to work on move in day, so she offered to help me move in! I have a surrogate mom and a surrogate Amanda! So, tomorrow is the last day of Rec and we're having a Last Day Luau, so I bought some awesome leis. I'm really sad though, these kids have really grown on me. And now I can't work there next year because my mom won't let me have two jobs and take classes at Macomb. So I'm down to v olunteering again. I love it, I just wish I could do it full time. I'm gonna try to finagle this one and make it work though, I plan on taking three classes next summer, Calculus (again, stupid Wilk), Public Speaking and I'm taking up Spanish because it's so much more usefull than French. If I do that, I'll be starting next year as a second year junior. I just don't know what to do yet, I can't quit the Village, I love it there. This is going to make me go crazy, I can feel it now. I still don't know what I'm gonna do. Fuck me...well, not literally.

I'm a boring person

All I have to post is a link for Cat, then its off to bed for me. http://my.cmich.edu/ <-- that's the student portal...and it's delicious.

Oh okay, I'll be a little less boring. I'll tell you all exactly what I did today:
I woke up at 8:30 and mowed the back yard.
I took a shower.
I went to rec and we took the kids to Metro beach...good times.
I came home.
I mowed the front lawn.
I took a shower.
I went to work.
I drove to the kroger parking lot and turned around to go to Walmart.
I went to Walmart.
I got some shit.
I talked to Cat in Walmart.
I said oral sex really loud in Walmart.
I came home.
I went to Kroger.
I talked to Cat in Kroger.
I went to Blockbuster.
I came home.
I got online.
I talked to Cat again.
I emailed an old friend.
I talked to Cooper for a little bit.
I went to bed.

Oh, and Catherine Trombly, YOU are a saucy minx...I know what you did this summer.

Oh, I talked to my new roommate Tami yesterday, she seems pretty cool. That reminds me, I have to send her a picture of my chair.

Hey Uncle Bill & Aunt Jill...Lemme know what you think of the revised schedule.

I Wanna Go To Jilberts Dairy

Well, last week, my dad, Trevor and I were in the Up. We went to our usual spot, Pike Lake. The trip was okay, nothing special though. It was hotter than fuck, so that meant there was no good fishing, the bugs were biting...I have a misquito bite on my ass. And no, I was not outside naked. I tend to kick in my sleep...and I kicked the screen out on the window...and the misquitos attacked, but I don't know how they got to my ass...I was wearing pants. I swam out to the island and the seaweed scared the shit out of me. And we had this freak ass guy in the next campsite that wore a watermelon and strawberry decorated hat. We did go swimming in the Taquamenon Falls. That was awesome. I'm too tired to remember what we did. Night night.

Somehow Rocky Parties Never Get Old

Yesterday was a fuckin' blast. First off, it was Cat's 18th birthday, so that was cool, then I gave her a really funny card that I made on my computer. I stayed at Rec for a few hours, then went home get ready for work, then on an off chance, I got a friend to work for me because I wanted to not go to work. It was cool, so I went back to Rec for a little bit to hang out with Cat and Steph and Amanda. The I went to Meijer to buy some shit. And I got some shit. Fast forward a few hours and Cat comes over when I'm wearing exactly a bra and a towel. And the front door is open, that was funny. So I gave her her birthday present, which consisted of Under The Tuscan Sun, some weird jumbo paper clips and push pins and a Grease CD. I hope she liked it. Then Cooper and Sammy showed up. I didn't know Sammy was coming, Cat told me a few minutes before she got there, but it turned out good. Cooper gave Cat a whole bunch of dolphin stuff. Then Amy, Kelley and Michelle came and we went upstairs to hang out and watch Rocky Horror, since Stephanie was going to be late and doesn't like Rocky Horror anyways. She was there for moral support ;) . Sammy was a Rocky Horror virgin until last night, but I think she like it a lot. There were so many damn quotes, but I didn't write any of them down because it was dark. Then we played Tourettes. I love that game. It was awesome, we had to use 3 decks of cards. I think it went over pretty well. Then, in true slumber party form, Cooper and Steph started tickling Cat because she had to pee. That was mean and yet funny to watch. They're just lucky she didn't pee on my floor. So while she was in the bathroom, I ran and got one of Doris's doggy diaper pads and put it in the spot where Cat was sitting. Haha. It was good. After tourettes, Cooper had to leave, so we all went outside to say goodbye and ended up laying in the middle of my road at midnight. "CAR!!"

After Cooper left, we finished Rocky Horror, then Stephanie left and took my beloved Harry Potter with her. I bet she's done with it now. We then staked out our sleeping areas, but ended up playing musical beds all night long. And because of my stupid, faulty air mattress, the circuit blew like three times. It was utter insanity. I finally fell asleep on the floor by Cat's feet. Then my mom woke us up evilly and took pictures because we kept her and my dad awake last night. Whoops. She took a picture of my butt...which is strange. Then we all woke up around 10:00 and Sammy had to leave right away. We ended up watching a little bit of the movie 9 Dead Gay Guys. Damn Funny. It's like a cross between Rocky Horror and Fight Club.

Ta ta everyone, I'm going to mow the grass then go up north. I'll be back on the 8th or so of August. Oh, and I'm gonna have one last Rocky Party before we go off to college, so any input on the date by anyone who wants to come would be helpful.

Day off...

Oy vey, I had the anti day off today. I did nothing fun...except clean the coffee pot. Inside and out. I showed that thing who was boss. I gotta figure out what to get Cat for her birthday...

I'm Naughty

Hahaha...made you think bad thoughts. I know I haven't posted in forever, but I've been at work for the past eleven days straight, my first break is...today. Woot. Yesterday, I went out and bought a trunk and a whole bunch of stuff for college for about 80 bucks. Its a piece of crap, but so are all the others that I've looked at. Tough Nuggies. I'll just have to get my dad to reinforce it. I'm so tard. Oh! Cat's birthday is Wednesday, that whore is gonna be 18. And she gets to register to vote. I wanna do that. But we're gonna have a Rocky party. Me, Coop, Trips, Steph, and Cat. Should prove to be a good night, its an interesting group of people. I bet we'll be singing Rocky Horror at Rec on Thursday, God knows we'll scar the kids. Oh, I'm very happy with the people that came to the City Council meeting to support Kasy: Cat, Cat's mom, Karley, Steph, Mrs. Roy, Austin, Jessica, Donny, my mom and a few others. It was good, though Kasy made me cry. It just pissed me off that people could do this to such a pure person, she's the epitome of a good person and someone's trying to ruin that. This is why I hate people. Right here. Anyone who knows me, knows that Kasy is my second mom. She's been there since I was a year old...Manda and I were practically raised like sisters from the ages of one to four. It was a cool way to grow up. But anyhoo, people can't be mean to Kasy because I don't take it lightly and my mom doesn't take it lightly and no one in Rec or associated with Rec should take it lightly. But you watch, good will prevail here, and hopefully, Karma will be a bitch to that slut of a lady.

I'm A Copy Cat

I stole this from Cat's Journal...because I just really like it.

Epiphany:

1. When you look around and finally realize that it couldn't possibly have been everyone else's fault all those times.

2. When you realize you're not everyone else's main priority, nor is everything they say or think, about you.

3. When you realize that your ingenious scheme was the equivalent of a pathetic ruse and all parties involved figured it out and laugh at you because you still think you are in control.

4. When you figure out that the only reason you aren't alone, in a glass box, with three snakes and a broken bottle of fire ants, three thousand feet under the ground and clinging to your life's pathetic existence is because life's not fair, and karma forgot to be a bitch.

5. When you realize you didn't win.

So have one.

I GOT HARRY POTTER

Hahaha...I went out with Andy to Barnes & Nobles to get Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince on Friday night/Saturday morning. It was quite and experience. There was a boy that looked like a girl there. The beard gave it away though. I got to reading my book as soon as I got home, but I soon fell asleep, I only got through 2 chapters. I worked both Saturday and Sunday all day, so I only got to read a little bit this weekend, but I got the book finished this morning, it was only 652 pages. I am very mad at J.K. Rowling. She killed off the best character. That bitch. It was still a good book though, but now, I don't have any idea what to expect for the last book. Anyways, I gotta get offline because I have to go to work.

The Last Few Days

Well, the last few days in Chicago were a blast.

Thursday: We went to the Adler Planetarium, which kicked behind. It was so fricken cool. I'm in love with it. Although, the planetarium eerily reminds me of the movie Contact. Then we stopped by the Art Institute, mainly to see American Gothic, a peculiarly intruiging painting. We hung around there for about an hour. When we got home, we went to the beach and laid out for a bit, then swam, then laid out for a bit more. The we went home, showered and started cooking. We had shells, which by the way, went over very well, thank you very much, because Uncle Bill's awesome friend, Walter, came over for dinner. He reminds me of Thomas Haden Church. He's a cool dude. The we played the ever infamous, Trouble, in which Uncle Bill lets his inner bitch out to play. Its so much fun. And each one of us won one game.

Friday: We went to the Field Museum...which was very educational. Nuff said. Then we just hung out for the remainder of our time. But of course we ordered Barry's Pizza again.

Saturday: We woke up somewhat early to go to the beach and not get yelled at by the bitch lifeguards. Then we went home and showered and finished packing up. Then we just sat around like hippies and listened to music. "I'm throwin' up my baby bumble bee/Won't my bulemic past life be so proud of me" Then we boarded the train, only to find that there were no seats next to eachother in business class. Lifes a fucking bitch sometimes. After about an hour and a half, we went back to the cafe car and watched 4 or 5 episodes of Will & Grace on my laptop, then found seats next to eachother minutes after my battery died...with a plug next to them. Score! So we watched Real Women Have Curves. Good movie.

Anyhoo, Chicago Rocks. Thanks Uncle Bill.

I just got home from the city...

...but I'll have to post later, I'm tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiired, maybe because our train got in 90 minutes late. I'll be posting everything, but it'll all be before...I think it's called post dating. Not sure though.

Chicago By Boat, Who Knew?

This morning we got up bright and early for an architectural boat tour of Chicago. It was sexy, but the lady talking was both nasal and boring, so I stopped listening half way through and we all went downstairs because it had a much better view of it all. Oh, and they had free Starbucks coffee and lemonade and muffins. FREE BREAKFAST! Haha. Then we went to the biggest, kid friendliest place on the planet. The Museum Of Science and Industry. Woah, its huge. And we had to see the Human Body IMAX because the others were sold out...sorry Cat... The museum would have been great if I was about 11 years old, but it was still pretty interesting. The IMAX on the other hand, was quite disturbing, I only recall seeing a gigantic pimple being popped on a dome screen that was about 5 stories high and surrounding us. It was a pimple the size of a small pool. It was disgusting. I wish we could have seen the Nile movie, that looked cool.
Oh, and Cat and I are really getting the hang of this L system, you could put us anywhere in
Chicago and we could get back to Bill's house without any effort what so ever.

Woot! When we got home today, we decided to go swimming and there was actually waves. It was like a mini ocean. Yay. We were most definitely on the gay beach though, there was 15o gay men, a pair of lesbians, me and Cat (no, we weren't the pair of lesbians), and a family of four, who must have gotten lost. There was an old man in a lime green speedo thong...quite a sight, let me tell you. And the lifeguards are stupid, they put the bouys in 25 feet of water, but you're only allowed to go about boob high. Wft? We got yelled at about 50 times.

I Will Never Go To The Sears Tower...EVER!!

The Sears Tower has to be the most boring place on the planet. I hate it. A lot. The Hancock Observatory, on the other hand, is pretty interesting. And the views are spectacular. We could see the shadows cast by the clouds on the city and it look like Earth was gonna be invaded, ie Independence Day. It was freaky. We also went down Michigan Avenue...The Mag Mile for short and we found a 4 story Borders! And we thought 3 stories was huge. I bought a single book, but its an awesome one If I Should Die Before I Wake. We took a gander at Shedd's Aquarium today as well. I'm in love with that place, if for no other reason than the dolphin show. I love dolphin shows. The aquarium itself is pretty good, saw some weird little sea animals and they had this gigantic tank, called the Wild Reef, that had some awesome animals in it, it was like a mini ocean. Then, on the way home, we got off the L at Belmont and went to the Army Navy Surplus store. It's pretty awesome but uber expensive. We both bought British Flag buttons and Cat was adamant about buying one that said "Fuck Off"...but they were all sold out. Darn. I fell asleep on the L today. I hear that I rubber necked the whole way.

Sometimes, You Should Identify Street Names

Today we woke up and ambled over to Navy Pier to buy IMAX tickets, we saw some movie about sharks...I fell asleep, not because I was bored, just out of sleep deprivation. Anyhoo, it was in 3D. Anyway, that's not the point, we went to Navy Pier and walked all the way down and it was pretty neat, however, I paid $5 for a lemonade that was mostly ice...it did come with a souvenior cup though. After walking around the pier, we caught a free trolley to State Street, where a Marshall Fields is. Across the street, we found a Borders books that was 3 stories high!! Yay! Whilst shopping and finding 3 awesome guides for Anatomy, Med Terms and Med Abbreviations, my uncle called and asked where we were. I told him at the Borders across from Marshall Fields. To bad theres another Borders in town across from another Marshall Fields. He gave us directions to a place for lunch...but it was quite a catastrophe. We ended up making it to lunch eventually and ran to a bus. By the way, we got pelted with sand while running towards the bus, it was windy. We took the bus to the IMAX. The movie was pretty good and the whole 3D thing made my head spin.

After the IMAX experience, we went to the Lincoln Park Conservatory and Zoo. I'm absolutely in love with the Lincoln Park Conservatory. It's so pretty. The Zoo was crap, half of the animals were dead, so it wasn't that exciting. We took the bus home and went down to the beach and swam. Whoopie! Anyways, later.

Fireworks Are The Shit

We woke up early today and went swimming at the beach and we were the only ones there. And the bouys went on forever...at our park, the water gets to be 5 feet deep...at this beach the water gets to be 25 feet! Anyhoo, we went for a walk down the coastline and it was so cool. I can't wait until after college so that I can live in Chicago...because I'm in love with it. Then we went with my uncle to the nursery to get some flowers...they were pretty, but there were no white lilies.

Early in the afternoon, we made our way downtown to get prepared for the fireworks. Along the way we stopped at Millenium Park. It's really cool, they have this gigantic pavillion by Frank Gehry (He did a lot of cool buildings, like the EMP in Seattle and the Guggenheim in Spain) and they do a lot of concerts and stuff there. They also had this really cool set of fountains that you could walk in and stuff. Then we went down to the Adler Planetarium area to watch the fireworks. Which were damn good, they sure upstaged Fishfly Festival Fireworks. Ha, try saying that one five times fast. I'll eventually post pictures and stuff...but I'm too busy now. Then we braved the subway on the way home. It was so packed, I think all of Chicago was on the L.
A la prochain fois~

The Worst Way To Start A Vacation...

...Is definitely missing your train. Yep, we missed the train this morning. It felt bad. We were the most pathetic sight ever. But more on that later, first, lemme explain why we missed the train. Well, first off, my dad insisted that we go to Kroger to get us some snacks for the train. Then we missed our exit. Then we ran into about a million detours. Then we got onto the platform. Then, as we made our way to get on, it slowly but surely started moving away. Mind you, my mom was in the station telling them that we needed to get on, but the guy WOULD NOT tell the train to stop. Asshole. We were there at 5:15 am, which is on time.

Anyhoo, we had the most priceless/crushed expressions on our faces. If someone would have been videotaping, it would have won money. But we weren't the only ones to miss the train. We met Yvette and Kenneth. They were nice. So, on to the adventure. First, we're told that we have to go to Flint to catch a bus that will take us to Battle Creek so we can get on a train to Chicago. Ugh. There were easier options, but he failed to inform us of them. So, for the time being, we went home. Cat and I were a gigantic pathetic mess. I know both of us wanted to cry. But we held a stiff upper lip and collapsed onto the futon when we got home, all the while, discussing just how retarded we felt.

We left home around 7:00 am and made our way to Flint. On the way, we stopped at a Big Boy's for brekkie. Funny story. So we're sitting down for breakfast and I make the declaration that I have to pee, which is hardly uncommon, so Cat and I go to the bathroom (I know, we travel in packs, what can I say?) And I go for the handicap stall because theres something yucky in the other toilet. But Cat, being the brave one, goes to flush the toilet and use that one. As soon as I sit down, I hear a deafening sound and I hear Cat's voice calling me...she sounded like she was in pain. So I told her to hang on so that I could finish peeing. So I did. Then I open the door to discover the strangest sight. Cat on the floor with the bathroom door. She completely took out the door. Completely. Apparently the door was somewhat off its hinges and she went to close/open it and it came off and she and it crashed into the wall together. And she really hurt her shoulder...I had to pull on her arm to pop it somewhat back into place. I think that was worth missing the train. Then we had to recount the story to my parents and the waitress. We didn't file an accident report though...wimp.

Now that that exciting portion is over, we fell asleep on the way to Flint and drove around in Flint for a while until we woke up. When we woke up, my dad had pulled into this parking lot full of modular homes because he wanted to put one on the property up north. They're all a hell of a lot bigger and prettier, outside and in ;), than my house. The people there thought we were sisters. Thats probably because Cat has the habit of calling my parents mom and dad. Unusual and yet expected. But holy crap, these houses are HUGE, they have upstairs and everything. We finally got to the station and waited for our bus with our new friends, Yvette and Kenneth. We traveled with them the whole way to Chicago. It was nice. The remainder of our journey wasn't that exciting, it was pretty much: sleep, listen to music, talk, sleep, eat a cracker, listen to music, talk...

Then we got to Chicago. Finally. A few hours late. My uncle picked us up at Union Station and we took Lakeshore Drive, the coolest road in the world, almost all the way to his house. It runs along the coastline of Lake Michigan, which is all part of Chicago. I think Cat was in awe. We got home to his awesome condo, a few blocks from the lake, and oddly enouch, took a walk to the lake, it must be a swimmer thing...must identify water source, MUST IDENTIFY WATER SOURCE!!! Its such a pretty lake. I'm in love with it. Then we came back home and ordered Chicago Style deep dish pizza with yummy stuff in it, I believe it was Barry's Pizza. It was so good, though Cat and I, as mere amateurs, could only eat one piece each, while Uncle Bill could devour 2 or 3. Then we both kind of drifted off while watching What Lies Beneath. Then we went to bed and fell fast asleep.
