It's my anniversary, baby

So, this weekend I went to Amanda's and Cat's graduation parties. I didn't stay long at Amanda's cuz I had to get home, but I did have an awesome time on her trampoline. Sunday, I was in the parade and I saw a lot of people that I knew from the red camaro that Allison and I were in. I also got sunburned. Then, almost as soon as I got home, I changed and went to Cat's graduation party. Oh, I failed to mention how I was woken up this morning. Just so you know, I was wearing a shirt and underwear, then I hear this odd noise and a door or two slamming and I look out my window and it's none other than Dex, Telly and Cat. Yay. I threw on the nearest pair of pants. Still an awesome way to wake up though. Anyhoo, after the parade, I high-tailed it to Cat's house. I pretty much snuck in without her noticing, Dex and Telly had to greet me. Damn Cat. It was awesome catching up with Dex and Telly, which I did for close to an hour. I love them Floridians. The party was fun, albiet I had a bad case of hick feet when I got home. They were SO dirty from the volleyball.
Yesterday I worked and then went to Rec for a bit. Then I came home and cleaned my room. It was SO hot upstairs, holy crap, I was sweating profusely. Then I showered and fell asleep.
Today should be good, we're taking the Rec kids to see Madagascar. Then I have to take another road trip to Circuit City to take back that damn CD burner. I hate it. A lot. Oh, btw, yesterday, I found my box of notes from last year, they are HILARIOUS. There are just no words for them. At all. Whatsoever. Okay, I have to shower, change, and go to Rec. Love ya, bye.
Oh, and today is the 5 year anniversary of leaving for Europe, which may not seem significant to many, but it was to me.

Oh, The Places You Will Go

Dude! I got the Dr. Suess book Oh The Places You Will Go for graduation. Yess! That is one of the coolest books. I so have not had time to blog as of late, I've been uber busy. Let's see:

Monday : I think I went to work from 10:30 to 2:45. Then I wrote thank you cards (which I am still not done with), and I probably went out and did something.
Tuesday : I went to work, but I do not remember what I did before or after, although I am sure thank you cards were in there somewhere.
Wednesday : I went to work and did a puzzle with my mom and may have gone out.
Thursday : I didn't go to work, but I did go to Great Lakes Crossing with my grandma and I got myself a faulty CD burner at Circuit City. Then I got myself a gigantic towel and a set of twin sheets for $15. Then I went to the Rainforest Cafe with Nana and had coconut shrimp. As soon as I got home, Cat showed up and we went on an ill fated journey to Bay Rama. I came so close to throwing up, but I held strong. Then I went out to my cousins house to get him so we could go to the fire works, which were really good, by the way.
Friday : I took Trev home and ran a few errands for my aunt, then I came home and then went up to work and the bank to do some errands. Then Cat and I went to Circuit City to exchange my faulty CD burner (only to recieve another piece of crap). Then the power went out and I couldn't exchange it, so we went to Best Buy so I could use my $75 gift card to get a printer for school. Then we went to Bed Bath and Beyond. It was good.

And today, I get to go to work. Yay. And fill out more thank you cards. Because that's what I do.

1 more week until Chicago!

I Ain't No Hollaback Girl...

Well, I've been busier than fuck since my last post. I worked most of last week and went to rec a few times and I don't remember much else. I had my graduation party on Saturday and it was a blast. A lot of people that I didn't think would show up did and a lot of people that I expected to show up, didn't. But hey, it was a good time anyways. Gia kicked ass on the food, let me tell you. She did an awesome job. I made out pretty well, though I ain't posting the amount that I got ;). Oh, and Flo Hayman gave Steph my gift and me Steph's gift...we're switching back as I type. Haha. Um...I haven't much more to say...My mom and dad are watching the Matrix and I keep zoning out to it. Loves, hugs and kisses.

Oh, as I reminisce...

Wow, I forgot how much I love Rec. I swear, there's nothing better than going to the park and playing with kids for 5 - 6 hours. There' even a smell associated with Rec, sunblock. Everytime I smell sunblock, it brings me to a happy place in my head; I smelled it at work the other day and it put me in the best mood. Anyways, I'm happy that I'm gonna be there this summer. But, I need to get some super sunblock, I got so burned today, and it wasn't even sunny. I'll have to get a tan somehow. So anyways, there's this boy named Isaac and he's gonna be my shadow, I can feel it. I met him by him attaching himself to me whilst swimming. I absolutely love the Semaan boys though. They are adorable. And I get to hang out with two of my favorite people, Amanda and Cat...CATIE. I get to call her Catie all summer. And I'm not gonna stop when we got to college. MWAHAHAHAHA!! Oh...and we saw Stephanie and Cooper today at the park...Steph works there and Cooper just showed up. All in all, it was a good day.

Going To Work Dead Tired is...AWESOME

Well, I'm absofuckinglutely ecstatic about going to work this morning, I've got a fucking pounding headache. And now I have to clean and then go to work. It's gonna be a lovely day. And now my mom is yelling at me because she doesn't think that I want to help her clean. Well, no shit. Doesn't mean that I'm not going to help. And now she's mad at me because I have a big work schedule today. Fuck me. No, fuck you.

The Bungee Run Sucks Ass

Yeah, I know I haven't really updated since Monday...but I haven't really been on the computer either. I've had a rather eventful week, if you count getting out of work for a neck injury eventful. Shyeah...I got whiplash and a mild concussion from that stupid bungee thing at the Senior All Night Party. Damn damn damnit. Anywho...I'm outta work for a few days. So that's awesome. I get to go back to the Chiropractor today, who by the way, also let me know that I had a fused disk in my back and scoliosis. WTF??? I don't believe him, my back has been fine every single time I've gone to the chiro, and now I have all of these maladies...my ass.

Oh! Monday night, Cat and I went to see The Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants. Totally cute movie. Yes, I did just say totally cute. We could have a sisterhood of the travelling scrubs...? Lord knows we have enough of them.

Tuesday...I went to work, then the chiro...not much here, although Paul is a lifesaver.

Wednesday -- Well, in the morning, I went to Timmy's with Lia and had breakfast. The new yogurt thing is pretty darn good. Then we went to Target for a minute and I got a new purse and a much needed notebook. Then I went to the chiro and got an accident report to give to Mrs. Accivatti. For the life of me, I cannot spell that name. Then I dropped it off at the school. After that, I went home for a while and did stuff....and accidentally took a nap, I was playing with my dog. Then I ran over to my Nana's house to drop off a TV Guide and I watched a little bit of Catch Me If You Can with her. Then I got home and Cat called. Then we decided to be stealthy and go for a 'walk'...but actually go to the beach to go swimming before the storm. We swam for like ten minutes and it started getting shitty...but no lightening, or so we thought. As we were getting ready to get out of the water, Cat's like 'Isn't that your dad?' Hahaha....it was, but he's cool and didn't get us in trouble with my mom (she doesn't believe in swimming in the shit hole...I mean lake). So anyone reading this KEEP YO' MOUTH SHUT. This means you Uncle Bill. So we're walking home and get as far as the Rec before it's just too bad to carry on. We called none other than my dad. As soon as we got home, Cat left and our power went out. It didn't come back until midnight-ish... So my mom and dad and I played poker with a flashlight. How extraordinarily fun.

Today -- We'll just have to see, won't we?

C'est Fini

Well, today was commencement...and it was pretty boring. But, Cat did a speech and I thought it was PERFECT. My mom and dad and my brother and his girlfriend came to watch the ceremony. After, I took a few pictures with friends and then we went to Mongolian Barbeque. Yay!

When we got home, I tried really hard to go to sleep, but I only achieved that half-awake state of awareness. And I read a little bit...Ya-Ya's In Bloom was awesome. Sexy book. Then at about 9:30, I took a shower and got prepared for the Senior All Night Party. Oh, but during my shower, there was a thunderstorm and the hot water turned off. Anyways, at about 10:10, I arrived at the Senior All Night Party and met Cat. We got to ride on a horse drawn carraige to the front of the school. The horse's were really big and they smelled funny. And there wasn't enough room on the carraige, so Cat had to sit on Steph's lap and Allison Deeb had to sit on mine. Haha.

So, when we got in, we got our wrist bands that said "Class of 2005" on them and we got our animal hats. I was an elephant, but accidentally left it on the bleachers. Then we went and did the mirage of things to do. We played laser tag, did those bungee run things (which by the way, give you the slightest onset of whiplash...my neck still hurts), fought with gigantic sticks, went on the super slide, got our fortunes read, saw a psychic, got tattoos, took pictures and did a motion simulator thing. Then, at 4 am, we saw this guy called Greg Steele and he did a hypnosis/comedy show. It was hilarious. Wait a minute! I forgot about Cat's stalker for the night. I swear, Tyler is in love with her "CATHERINE......CATHERINE.....CATHERINE.....!!!" But he was very inappropriate, like being all touchy feely and shit, so during laser tag, I yelled at him and started beating him with my laser gun. Then when we got out, mind you it was 3:45 am, I said "Either it's really late, or you're really annoying" and he called me uptight and walked away...but, job done, he was scaring Cat...So I scared him. Then Cat didn't want to be alone. It was funny.

Then I went home and slept for 8 hours. Spank my ass and call me Bertha.

J'aime Lia

Tonight, I went up to Timmy's to meet Lia and she gave me her Health Occ. stuff so that I could use it for college...WOOT!!

There Is A Place, It Has A Face...

Okay, now I'll update a little more on Orientation. It was great and I'm pretty positive that I'm going to major in Health Administration while simultaneously getting the requirements for the Physician's Assistant program. It's not a major or anything, it's just a pre-professional program, which I have to finish in grad school, I need my masters in something...but hopefully I can get a masters in Health Administration as well. It would be absolutely perfect. In ten years, I'm so gonna be running a hospital in CHICAGO!!!

Anyways, here's my tentative schedule:

HON 100B - Introduction to Honors Fri. 2:00pm - 3:50pm
ASL 101H - Honors American Sign Language Tues. & Thurs. 12:30pm - 1:45pm
FRN 201 - Intermediate French Mon. Tues. Wed. & Thurs. 10:00am - 10:50am
GRN 247 - Intro To Gerontology Mon. Wed. & Fri. 11:00am - 11:50am
HSC 201 - Medical Terminology Tues. 6:30pm - 8:20pm
MTH 132 - Calculus I Mon. Tues. Wed. & Thurs. 9:00am - 9:50am

Yes, I realize I'm taking Calc again, but my teacher was completely incompetent. Anyways, Cat and I have it really easy for college, we barely have to buy anything...we do, however, have to figure out how to get the bigger room. That is the only problem.

Anywho, back to Orientation. The drive home seemed extremely quick, probably because Cat and I were talking the ENTIRE time, our friend Lia was asleep in the backseat. Then we went to Mongolian Barbeque and had a wonderful meal. It was Dee-lish. We finally got home around 9 or 10. I think. All and all it was good.

Dooooooooooooood!

Okay, I'm the fricken giddiest person in the whole world right now! First off, I found my major and minor, Health Administration and Gerontology respectively. Which makes me get my dream job, running a hospital. I really really want to double major, since it makes sense and can probably make me more successful in the long run. I'm kinda thinking about doing Pre-Physician Assistant though...sounds like it could be useful an I intend on going to graduate school. I'm too excited to type...tomorrow will be better...all I can say is that we had a blast.
