Just keep working working working... What do we do we work...

H'ok, so... as the title says, I've been a-workin' a lot, but it paid off a wee bit, made about $300 in a week. Saweeeeeeeeet. As far as black monday went, I went shopping early, I was one of the first people in Target, however, the early-ness made me a dumbass. I found some really good smellin' Method handsoap/candel gift sets for about $2 each and I only bought 1. I do not know what I was thinking. But the scent is soooo delightful, it smells exactly like the old TicTacs they used to have that were bigger than the regular ones, anyhoo, the scent is peppermint vanilla. I love Method, by the way, they have the best smelling stuff, I mean, what company has grapefruit flavored handsoap? I bought some other random stuff, including a new scarf and gloves (they are soft AND pink, come on) and they were on sale. I had to work @ 4:30, which was alright, since I was working with Court & Scott. I had to work Tuesday as well, I almost killed everyone that day, I was in a pissy mood because they would not shut the hell up. Wednesday I had a slumber party with my girls, it was good times. We watched some old school Nickelodeon, I'm talking GUTS and Legends of the Hidden Temple. Sweet stuff. Then we watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. All in all, it was a pretty fun night. Got some X-mas presents from Cat & Cooper, a nice little kit with all I would ever need if I ever went anywhere toiletry set from Cat, but I'm told she knit/"crotcheted" something for me too :). I got a crazy little voodoo doll, a cute keychain and a Starbucks gift card. The next day Cooper stayed until... fucking 4:00, but we had fun. Then I just chilled at my house for the rest of the day. Friday I went to work at 6:30, then realized that I didn't have to work, so I did what any sane person would do and went shopping. I got some more work scrubs, then I went to Meijer's and bought myself a sweet coat for $65 dollars on clearance. It's flippin' sweet. Then I went to work around 4:00. Went out to Starbucks last night. Hotness. The I went to work this mornin'. Shitty. Then I came home and took a bath because my feet stunk. Sorry for sharing, but damn. I played some poker with the parents, Texas Hold 'Em. I won... but I'm sure I cheated somewhere in there.... I have to go to bed before next year, damn, I want to watch the ball drop agonizingly slow.

I love Christmas

I had a loooooooong day today, but it was worth it I think. I worked at the Village from 6:15am to 3:30pm, did a little over time on top of time & a half! Love it. So, I love Christmas again, the family didn't rip eachother's heads off too much this year... well, a little, but what ev'. So, I got a diamond & sapphire ring from Jill and Jennifer... I have to get it resized for my stumpy little fingers :) , but it is AWESOME!!! I LOVE IT. I got a $20 Target giftcard from Trevor, $50 from Nana... I think that's it. But don't yell at me if I'm wrong because it's late and I've been awake for a million hours. Tired now, going to sleep to prepare for "Black Monday" power shopping.

So yeah...

I haven't posted in about 9 days, I been busy. I drove home on Friday. Sweet. I've worked since last Saturday, 50 hours total. But it's worth it, thats about $450! Woot. So, I don't remember what I've done in the last week, but it's mostly been about pureed foods. And washing dishes. I vaguely remember going shopping and making cookies with Cooper and going to Trevor's band concert.

Anyways, today we had our little Christmas get together with Jason & Becky on my break from work. Donna, my supervisor, gave me an extra half hour on my break, which was awesome. And I still got done with all of my work early, just because I'm special. I am getting sick of the residents from Capman hall, they are all ornery and rude. But hey, they're old... what ev'. I got a buncha cool presents; mom & dad gave me some Magno (25.5 oz. of delicious Spanish soap), a 1.7 oz. bottle of Obession, some cereal (weird, I know) & $75 Target gift card. Jake got me some interesting Gingerbread smellin' soap, a hot pink loofah, Christmas flavored Jelly Bellies, a $25 Applebees giftcard, a cute little stuffed animal & his old palm pilot. I also got a really cool scarf/hat/glove set from Becky, wild colored stripes, just my style... & $25 from Ms. Bauer. I'm excited about tomorrow, I get to see the family after I get offa work, I go from 6:30am to 3:00pm, I'll get to hang with Trev! Woot! I'll prolly get to see Jill & Jenny too. Then I'm going super shopping on the day after Christmas, until I have to go to work @ 4:30. Later for now, I gotta go to bed so I can get up for work in the mornin'. Oh oh oh! I passed all of my classes with a B or better, not too great, but I can bring it up in the following semesters.

I hate Mount Pleasant in the snow...

Argh... I hate Michigan, I hate snow, I hate Mount Pleasant, but most of all, I hate being in Mount Pleasant when I don't have to be. I can't drive home today because there is going to be a snow storm approximately when I'll be driving home. Sooooooooooo... I get to stay in the big MP tonight and hopefully leave tomorrow. Fucking fuck. It hate the snow. Did I mention that yet? I think I need to create a new background for this blog, I really like the green, but its very generic, just a template that I picked up. I think I'll try to make a cool one, maybe I'll just modify this one. But right now I have to go move my car before my meter runs out. Saluti!

No more exams-ish

Yay! I'm finito with exams, except my performance exam in ASL, which will be tres simple. I have not been on my computer since Sunday night when I last blogged. That is a new record, if I do say so myself. I noticed that I've had such an effed up sleeping schedule lately.

Monday:
Studied French from 6:30 to about 11:00 on Sunday, then I went to bed around 2 or 3, to wake up around 9:00 for my French exam. Then I studied for my Psychology exam and took it at 2:00. That one wasn't too bad, I don't think. Then I went to the library at about 4 and didn't leave until 1 am. It was major studying time with Benjamin. Then I fell asleep around 2 am.

Tuesday:
Woke up around 7:00 am and ate breakfast, whilst studying for my Economics final. Finished that final, went back to my dorm & took a shower, then I went to sleep from about 10:30 to about 3:30. At about 5, Ben and I went to Phil & Aarons to meet them, as well as Jenny & Dave. We at dinner and hung out there until around 11:00, then Dave, Jenny, Ben & I went to Nick & Jenny's. We met Shamoan (I can't spell that cat's name to save my life). Us, along with Nick, went back to Phil & Aaron's and started watching the Ellen DeGeneres stand up thing. Then they started drinking some alcoholic beverage and the minors (aka Ben & I) left. Got home around 1:15 and surprisingly Cat was still awake, so we talked for about an hour, then she fell asleep and I read Jenny's book and The Week. Fell asleep around 3:30.

Wednesday!!:
I woke up at 10:30 when my mom called me, then I ate brekkie and watched the new Charlie & The Chocolate Factory movie. CREEPY. Willy Wonka is a crazy bitch in this movie. 'Nuff said. Then I went back to my room and cleaned up random stuff, then Cat & I went with Lia on a little road trip to KFC and Target. Good fun. It is now 5:28 pm and I am so nauseous, it's not even funny. Okay, it's a little funny. I may eat dinner, I may not. Tonight I'm going to see RENT! I'm so excited. I love that movie.

Oh, so the aforementioned book that Jenny gave me to read is called Straight Women, Gay Men. It was very funny. I gotto go for now though.. Later.

I CAN'T STUDY ANY MORE

I am suffering from serious ADD at the moment, I cannot study. I keep looking at facebook and checking my email. I did realize something funny though, since I've been @ CMU, I've met more famous people than I have in my entire life combined: Bowling For Soup, Anna Nalick, Jim Gaffigan, CT & David from random Real World seasons, Bill Nye the Science Guy & Larry Joe Campbell. I don't think that I've met anyone else famous before CMU... Oh no, I met a random member of the Detroit Shock Basketball team & I almost met Michael Phelps... I will marry that boy. Not that famous people are better than regular people, just weirder. Bowling For Soup was drunk, as were CT & David & Bill Nye was an ASSHOLE.

I'm on a Mancala bender... you know that game where you move the marbles... okay, you probably don't, but its addicting. As are Tang and Fresca, together or apart.

I typed that sentence, then went and played Mancala for an hour. I have to study now.

I have to start studying again...

I don't wanna! I don't wanna study! So, I went to bed at 4:00 am this morning and I was up by 10:30, I think that's pretty good. I am going to fail the French exam like no other, that's just a fact of life apparently. I think I'm gonna have to switch from French to Psychology and back again... It's all so boring. Ugh. Okay, I'm done for now.

Eh.. 2 am should be considered part of the previous day

Today was quite interesting. I decided around 2 o'clock that I would do my laundry, only the necessities of course. So I put the stuff in the wash, then I fall asleep ten minutes before the load was to be done in the wash, luckily I woke up. After I finished my laundry, I went to Merril to get Ben so we could go get his white elephant gift for the gift exchange that was about seven hours ago. We went to various stores and bought stuff, including some hair dye for him so that we could dye it before the party. We arrived fashionably late at 7:36. His hair looks really good, by the way, although it is "mahogany" so it is a little redder than we intended. Neither of us caught the word mahogany whilst chosing the dye. Anyways, the party was fun, I ended up with the gift of Choxie chocolates, which are delicious. Then we played a variation of the game "I never". It was good fun, I learned stuff about my friends that I really don't think I needed to know, but it was damn funny. Let's just say more than one of my friends have participated in an orgy of five or more people. Kinky ;).

Around 10 o'clock, we left and went to my dorm to watch Kinsey, which is a really good movie, its kinda like the psychology of sex... Yes, I know, WEIRD. But it is very interesting. I had to drive him back to his dorm around 1:40 ish. I looked like a crazy bag lady, let me tell you. I had on my capri pajama pants and a coat and boots and crazy lady hair and my glasses on. And I had to check myself in to the dorm via the front entrance, so everyone saw my crazy bag lady impersonation. That was a one time showing, by the way.

Upon examination of my arms, I have decided that I have uber amounts of hair growing on them, its like dog hair growing out of a human. How sad. Eh, I'll get over it.

I think I want to open up a gift wrapping store, screw Health Administration, I love wrapping presents way more, I could do it all day every day, for the rest of my life. But I won't. Shit. I think its time for bed, I only come up with hair brained schemes when I'm over tired, and since I've had five hours of sleep in the past fourty-two hours, that seems like a wonderful idea. Sweet dreams my lovers.

Fucking fuck

I have bronchitis again. God damn mother fucking fuck. Okay, no more swearing. Let's see, this week was a long damn week. I don't remember much from Monday or Tuesday though, because my brain is too full of studying. Ha. Oh, Tuesday night I had my medical terminology exam and I got an A!!! Because I kick ass.

Wednesday:
Went to class and stuff and I didn't get to do my presentation in French because some people took a really long time. Then I went to my last Intro to Psych class. Not all that exciting, I hope the rest of my psychology classes are a bunch more fun than that one was. Then I went and met with my major advisor and signed my Health Administration major. Woot! Then I stopped by the GSA office and hung out for a minute. I went to the UC to attend a lecture, then I realized I didn't want to attend it at all. Walked back to the office and Benjamin and I went back to my dorm to hang out and eat dinner. Craziness ensued. We ended up in his dorm room, trying to plot ways to freak out his roommates. We thought of good ways after leaving the dorm. It coulda been good. Then at the GSA meeting, we played a game called Mafia. Its splendid, although I cannot really remember the rules, but I do remember one thing. KY jelly kills people.

Thursday:
Woke up and realized that I had bronchitis. Sexy stuff. Then me and my sexy phlegm had to give a French presentation, I sounded like a frog. It was hot. Then I went to ASL for our receptive exam, which was pretty good. But the best part of the day was most definitely the Anna Nalick/Rob Thomas concert. It was soooo cool. We got to meet Anna Nalick and I got her CD autographed. It was good times.

After the concert, I went to Phil's with Jenny & Dave and a few other people, it was good fun. We watched 2 episodes of Desperate Housewives, which was delightful. Then we pretty much sat there and giggled for an hour, then around 4 am, we left and I went to bed. It was a long day.

Today:
I woke up this morning to Cat talking to Lia with my phone. It was strange. And it was early. Well, it was 9:30. Anyways, Lia took me to go get my car, which was hot, because I hate walking to it. My door, however, was frozen shut. Took a few minutes to pry it open, but I'm sweet like that, so it worked. Then we went to Gerontology, which was boring as ever, thankfully it was the last one for the semester. After class, I went back to my dorm and ate breakfast (12 pm) and Cat and Lia left. So this weekend should be very interesting, indeed.

Loooooooooong weekend

Okay, so this weekend totally kicked ass. By the way, this weekend started on Thursday night. Thursday night, Cat, Lia & I decided to have a girls night and watch movies... I'm sure we fell asleep early, I know I did. I think we watched Love Actually. I love that movie.

So, let's see. Friday we woke up and remembered that we had to go to the Midland Mall to get my contants. We made a damn day of it. But let's not forget that the roads were kinda crappy where I decided to drive. I definitely rear ended an elderly Native American guy, but it was so totally not my fault, I did everything you're supposed to do with icy roads, I went slow, pumped my breaks and nothing worked, but I have absolutely no damage on my car at all. The old man was driving a van, so the bumper was lower, his car got a little dent or two, but I was going no more than a few miles per hour. I'm happy that didn't set the tone for the rest of the day though, it was awesome. So, at the mall, I decided that I would only be communicating in sign language, because I could, since Lia is in my class and Cat hangs out with us enought to pick it up. It was so cool to do, I didn't speak for at least four hours, minus the few minutes that I had to be in DOC to take care of my contacts. But yeah, it was sweet. I did get a lot of looks though, which was annoying, but to be expected. I got presents for Trev & Auntie M, as well as Nana and Unka P. And I got some sexy ass buttons. It was definitely a good day. Then we did drove back to Mount Pleasant and stopped at the sex shop, primarily because we could. We did the slumber party thing again on Friday night and watched some of the movie Kinsey. I love that movie, its so obscure. We also dyed Lia's hair, well, it was more of a red tint, but it looks awesome.

Saturday morning, I woke up bright and early at 11:00... HAHA! Okay, so I woke up and got a shower and stuff, then Tami straightened my hair. It was sexy. Then I went to Somerset with Kyle, Ben, Jenny, Sam & Jayme. It was a blast. Kyle drove Ben and I and we listened to the RENT soundtrack, among other things. We got to the mall. It was humongous. Absolutely humongous. I want to live in the Crate & Barrel and the Williams Sonoma stores. They are magnificent. Anyways, Ben and I walked around for about 5 hours, then Jayme joined us because Kyle and Sam were leaving. I ended up buying an awesome purse from Pac Sun. Then we rode back with Jenny. That was possibly the most hilarious car ride of my life, it was non-stop laughter. And Benjamin is a pervert, nuff said. Then we went to Lil Chef with Phil & Aaron, which was fun. After Lil Chef, we went to Phil's house to watch a movie. Ben and I were asleep within 5 minutes. But it was Gremlins, not like we were missing anything. Then around 5 am, I went back to my dorm and went to bed. Catherine was awake when I got there... weird. That was my long ass day.

Umm... Sunday I'm pretty sure Lia & Cat and I went Christmas shopping again, I'm done with everyone except my parents and some of my friends. I will finish, I swear.

Today has been a long and tiring day, but I'm wearing my red ribbon, so there. I'm in the office right now because I am awesome. And hi to mom and dad, who like to be mentioned in the blog.

This means that if I wanted to, I could go home on Thursday afternoon & go to work, then come back to school on Monday morning. I love this schedule more than life itself.

I've decided to live on campus next year, it's too much hassle not to at the moment. I wanna figure out how to get a parking permit for North Campus now, since I'll be a sophomore next semester anyways.

Oh, I've become a loser: I dropped out of Alternative Breaks for the year, I realized finally that I'm putting way too much on my plate and expecting to be perfect. Not gonna happen. On a better note, I'm going to see the movie Rent tomorrow-TODAY. I'm excited, primarily because it's freeeeeeeee! I love free things, therefore I love Rent. Sadly, the concert Program Board was supposed to have on Friday is now moved back to February, though we are having a smaller free concert in it's place, which I'll still help with. Good news though, Everclear will be free in February, for Sibs Weekend. Sweet, although I personally wanted Rufus Wainwright or Franz Ferdinand. Eh, shit happens.

Oh oh oh! Lia and I have our presentation written for ASL and it's awesome! We practically have it memorized. Because we're awesome. As of now, I only have 2 humongus things to worry about before studying for exam week: French presentation and Gerontology final paper. And I'm screwed. I also have to learn all the rest of med terms before next Tuesday, when I take my final. If I do better on my French final than I did in the class overall, that means that I get the grade on my final for my grade in the class... isn't that wonderful? I thought so. Okay, seeing as how I'm not going to get any sleep, I'm going to go study Med Terms. Damn nap in the middle of the day confused my sleep habits. RABBIT RABBIT.
